1. Introduction: Welcome to Traction Automotive & Commercial. By using our services, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.

2. Services Provided: Traction Automotive & Commercial offers vehicle repair, maintenance, and breakdown recovery services. We also provide servicing for plant machinery and commercial vehicles. Specific services and repairs will be detailed in the service agreement or invoice.

3. Estimates and Quotes: All estimates provided are based on our best judgement of the time and materials required for the work. Final charges may vary depending on actual time spent and materials used. We will inform you if additional work is necessary and seek your approval before proceeding.

4. Payment Terms: Payment is due upon  collection of the vehicle unless otherwise agreed. We accept payment via cash, card, or bank transfer. Late payments may incur additional charges.

5. If a customer provides an incorrect part for a repair, we will charge for the labour time spent up to the point of identifying the issue. We will inform the customer of the mistake as soon as possible to allow for a timely resolution. The correct part must then be supplied by the customer or ordered through us to complete the repair.

6. Liability: Traction Automotive & Commercial will not be liable for any loss or damage to your vehicle or property unless caused by our negligence. Our liability is limited to the cost of the services provided.

7. Cancellation Policy: If you need to cancel or reschedule a service, please provide at least 24 hours’ notice. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled service may incur a cancellation fee.

8. Data Protection: We collect and process personal data in accordance with applicable data protection laws. Your information will be used solely for the purpose of providing services and will not be shared with third parties without your consent.

9. Complaints: If you have any concerns or complaints about our services, please contact us directly. We aim to resolve issues promptly and to your satisfaction.

10. Changes to Terms: We may update these terms and conditions from time to time. Any changes will be posted on our website, and continued use of our services will constitute acceptance of the revised terms.

Terms and Conditions for Damaged Parts During Vehicle Servicing

1. Introduction: These terms and conditions outline the responsibilities and procedures concerning the handling of parts that may be damaged during vehicle servicing at Traction Automotive & Commercial.

2. Pre-Existing Damage: Before commencing any service, our technicians will inspect your vehicle and inform you of any existing damage or wear to parts that could potentially cause issues during servicing. It is the customer's responsibility to acknowledge and accept the risks associated with servicing parts that are already in a compromised condition.

​

3. Accidental Damage: While we take all necessary precautions to avoid damage during servicing, accidents may occur. In the event that a part is accidentally damaged by our technicians, we will:

  • Inform you immediately of the damage.

  • Assess the extent of the damage.

  • Offer a solution, which may include repairing or replacing the damaged part at no additional cost to you.

  • If the damage would be seen as unavoidable then we will quote for this works to be repaired if approved by the customer.
     

4. Exclusions from Liability: We will not be liable for any damage to parts that:

  • Were already damaged or in poor condition before servicing.

  • Were identified as potentially problematic before the service began.

  • Resulted from parts that are beyond their serviceable life and failed during the servicing process.
     

6. Customer Approval: Any additional work required due to accidental damage will be communicated to you. We will obtain your approval before proceeding with any replacement or repair work not initially covered by the service agreement.
 

7. Dispute Resolution: If you believe that the damage was caused by our negligence, please contact us directly to discuss your concerns. We aim to resolve disputes amicably and to your satisfaction.
 

8. Insurance: We maintain insurance coverage for accidental damage to your vehicle while in our care. However, this coverage does not extend to parts that were already damaged or worn before servicing.
 

9. Acknowledgment: By proceeding with our services, you acknowledge and accept these terms and conditions related to the handling of damaged parts.
